Team Member Employment
Most fast food companies expect each year to hire and lose many new employees. These restaurants accept high employee turnover as a normal part of the business.  Chacho's has a different philosophy.  We want to attract and keep people who will stay with us for years.  We know this leads to high quality.  To keep good people, we must and do offer more. 
Probably most important is that people working here can simply earn more money than working in similar restaurants.  We do this by both offering higher basic wage rates than competing restaurants and by regularly scheduling our best employees for overtime.  We have many employees that regularly receive 10, 15, 20 or even more hours of overtime each week.  This enables these hard workers to earn enough money to afford a nice apartment and make a car payment.  We only offer this to those who we can really count on to get the job done, but this is a large number of our people.
We also offer flexible schedules, free food and paid vacation.  We also try to be very understanding about the time people need to have off.
Our goal is to employ a diverse work force.  Unlike many restaurants, we actively seek older employees, minorities with poor English language skills and those with troubled backgrounds.  We have employed people from Africa, Asia, Central America, Europe, India, Mexico, Middle East and South America, and many who have not spoken English particularly well, if at all.  They have have been excellent workers for us. 
But we are very demanding. We expect our team members to come to work on time when scheduled and give 100% all of the time. We expect  honesty and cheerful adherence to our way of doing things.
